On the day dedicated to Ada Lovelace, the woman whose work is recognised as the first algorithm intended to be carried out by a machine, we celebrate the achievements of women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). This is also an opportunity for the women working at the Nanoscience Centre to say that 9% representation of women in STEM is not enough!
